GENERAL FUNCTION

The Manager- Finance is responsible for supporting, analyzing and reporting on all aspects of stores workforce planning activities including scheduling, forecasting, real-time management and performance monitoring in connection with sales, customer experience and budget parameters.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the Workforce Planning for Oakley Retail NA in building and developing reporting and analysis, workforce management processes, and collaboration to deliver desired workforce results and align workforce capacity and capability with business strategies.

  • Create and continually improve scheduling, analytics, reporting, and store performance including payroll as a percentage of sales, adherence, productivity, forecasting tools and capabilities.

  • Responsible for maintaining and discovering enhancement opportunities for the Kronos Advanced Scheduling system and other Workforce Planning technologies that align with all KPIs associated with labor management.

  • Own the beginning to end process of all ticket and tasks with the RBS team, including working with the District Managers, representing WFP on Business Lead calls, testing and providing approval for all changes.

  • Responsible for collecting, assembling, analyzing and reporting on all workforce planning related data for all North America locations in a consistent and timely manner.

  • Present data to Store Finance and the Sr. Director of Store Operations to assist in strategy creation, and performance evaluation per location, region and entire country.

  • Support Store Finance and the Sr. Director of Store Operations with strategy, communications and status reporting to ensure successful implementation and usage of all new projects and technologies.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, or Mathematics, required

  • 5+ years of retail analytics or management experience (sales, labor, etc.)

  • 1+ year of scheduling software experience

  • Thorough knowledge of workforce planning processes including scheduling, forecasting, and intraday management.

  • Advanced user of Microsoft Excel required (pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.)

  • Excellent organizational, listening, interpersonal, analytical, written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work independently as well as with a team and to take initiative.

  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Reporting suite experience preferred (Cognos, SAP, etc.). Ability to understand and interpret statistical reporting.

  • Kronos scheduling software experience preferred
